Key Responsibilities
- Execute chemical reactions from milligram to gram scale and synthesize required quantities of molecules/compounds according to client specifications.
- Develop and use efficient synthesis routes and techniques.
- Ensure laboratory safety by following good laboratory practices.
- Maintain records in accordance with Data Integrity and IP specifications.
- Perform purification of compounds and interpret results using analytical techniques such as NMR and LCMS.
- Handle automated synthesizers and purification systems; experience in this area is desirable.
- Prepare and maintain Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN).
Candidate Profile
Candidates should have:
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry.
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in synthesis R&D.
- Practical experience in chemical reactions and compound synthesis.
- Knowledge of purification and analytical interpretation using NMR and LCMS.
- Good laboratory practices and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with data integrity requirements.
- ELN documentation experience.
